Salary: R25 000 CTC

 

You would require the following for this position:

Active Lifting Machine Inspector registration with ECSA essential.

Scopes –  Chain Blocks & Lever Hoists / Lifting Tackle

Valid driver’s license

Valid Forklift license beneficial

Duties:

• Repair, service, assemble and attend to breakdowns during and outside of normal work hours as required of all lifting equipment

• Inspection and certification of lifting equipment (Chain & Lever Hoist), as LMI

• To do Chain and Lever Hoist strip & quote, repairs, assemble and load test

• Ensure any private tools used for work are secure at all times as the employer will not take on any responsibility for such

• Ensure company tools are clean and serviceable and secured at all times

• To comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislative and company SOP at all times

• To ensure all processes are followed, including work hours & overtime standby claims, to enable the employer to recover hours billed to customers

• Promote and protect the employer’s business and image at all times

• Effective and accurate reporting in line with business requirements, where required

• Accurately complete inspection report and/or job card to ensure accurate certification
